Exploring gardens and art connects children with the beauty and magic of the natural world. Art and gardens reinforce learning, engaging all the senses, and providing fulfilling hands-on projects.
By using art to teach about nature and gardening we provide children experiences vital to their mental and emotional growth and well-being. In addition, art is an effective way to engage students in sciences and the environment. Our program fills these essential needs in school curricula.
Art and Gardens are vital to cultivate observation, imagination, qualities of nurturing, curiosity, awareness and sense of belonging to the natural world, environmental literacy, community engagement, empathy, and creative problem solving. These after-school clubs are truly transformative!

Gardens for Humanity acknowledges that we work and gather upon the ancestral homeland of the Yavapai-Apache Nation. We honor, with gratitude, the land itself and the Yavapai and Apache people who have lived here for millennia and who remain a vital part of this community today.
