Full Moon Concert at Peace Garden with William Eaton
August 18, 2016 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm

AUGUST 18 FULL MOON CONCERT.
Musician and instrument maker William Eaton will perform ‘music under the full moon’ on Thursday, August 18th at 7:30 pm at the Peace Garden, Sedona Creative Life Center. The concert will be the third and final of three full moon concerts Eaton is presenting this summer in collaboration with Gardens for Humanity.
Since the beginning of human time the full moon has occupied a hallowed and mystical realm, generating countless mythologies and contemplations about its influences to life on earth. Moon cycles and the cosmic rhythms and gravitational forces that pull the tides, have also been thought to have subtle or direct influence on people, plants and animals.
For this concert Eaton has composed songs, each with a relationship to the long history and folklore created from full moon traditions. “The music will be a meditational vehicle by which to relax and take a little time to witness this celestial phenomenon,” Eaton commented.
The concert will be limited to twenty people.
