Sedona Plant Walk, Medicine Making, and Creative Nature Integration

On a meditative plant walk, participants will learn about some of the local Sedona medicinal plants and flowers and their healing properties on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels. They will forge a deeper connection with the land, the spirits of the plants, and create a medicinal essence or salve that correlates to their personal journey in life at this time.
A space for creative communion with the plants through drawing, movement and/or writing will be created for deeper exploration into communication with nature and Self.
- Bring a small empty tincture bottle or small salve jar. Paper and pen.
- Participants will be supplied with oil, wax, and vinegar/alcohol to make their own essence or salve.
- (Optional) Crayons, colored pencils, or Cray-Pas
- Water bottle and sun protection (hat…)
Trailhead: From 89A – take 89A to Coffeepot Drive & continue for 0.6 miles; turn left on Sanborn for 0.2 miles; turn right on Little Elf Drive and follow trailhead signs; parking lot is on your left.
